Description:  The Clinical Documentation Integrity Specialist (CDIS) plays a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of clinical documentation for inpatient hospitalizations across a not-for-profit 1000+ bed trauma, academic health system that includes 4 hospitals (3 trauma level 2 academic medical centers) and 1 children’s hospital.

Position Details:

  • Location: Remote, U.S. only
  • Employment Type: 1099 Assignment
  • Pay: $65.00 per hour
  • Expected hours: 8 hours per day

Responsibilities:  Clinical Documentation Integrity Specialists (CDIS) are responsible for reviewing 100% of inpatient cases (excluding specific units) within 24–36 hours of admission. They must maintain a 30% query rate to physicians, with a 95–100% physician response rate. Daily concurrent reviews are required. CDIS also collaborate with physicians and HIM/coders to ensure accurate documentation of diagnoses and severity of illness, support education efforts, monitor productivity, and assist with data analysis and other related projects.

Description:  Seeking experienced Inpatient Medical Coders.  Positions are 100% remote.  Both full time and part time positions are available.  Applicants must have 5+ years of IP PCS coding experience and an active CCS certification from AHIMA.

Position Details:

  • Start: Immediately
  • Pay: 1099 assignments

Responsibilities:  Ensure precise coding for inpatient accounts, maintain DRG accuracy, and stay current with coding guidelines.
